OUR MISSION
The Kids Venice Basketball League: Natural Leaders Building upon its tradition of unity and taking advantage of the family atmosphere of Venice Beach, The VBL founded The Kids Venice Basketball League (KVBL) in 2007, a non-profit collaborative committed to empowering the under-privileged children of Los Angeles with essential, healthy life and basketball skills. Being a part of the Natural Leaders Camp for Kids, children from various parts of inner-city Los Angeles are bussed to the Venice courts. Every Sunday morning for ten weeks, they participate in a health and leadership program before the VBL games begin.
